When you look outside on a breezy spring day, what do you see?
Green grass poking its spears out from the winter-dead brown thatch. There is a promise in that green. Future growth is the promise of spring.
In each of our lives we have many chances to renew ourselves. New Year’s resolutions; birthdays; big life events like college, a cross-country move, marriage, baby, divorce, new job, lost job; are significant turns on your path that you can use as an opportunity for positive growth. Who are you? What do you want to be? Where do you want to go? What is your color of success?
Your own greening. A fresh spring.
When you gaze out your window this April….see the green….what does it mean to you?
Leadership & Resilience Coach/Executive Career Consultant
Greater Chicago Area & the World
Sage Prairie: Coaching amazingly creative clients who are seeking direction with life and career transitions focusing on their strengths and finding powerful positive solutions. It is important to bring my extensive creative background as a freelance studio artist into every aspect of coaching. By encouraging creativity in clients, I offer them more successful life coping skills, career exploration and personal success.
• Specializing in discovering pathways to Leadership success through enrichment of creativity, strengths, and personality.
• By teaching creative thinking, mindfulness, and self-empowerment, I help my clients to better lead through understanding their Values, Interests, Personality, and Skills to cope with transition issues and to excel beyond what they could ever believe they were capable of achieving.
Why “Sage Prairie”? My mother often called me "Sagacity" ever since I was tiny. In my youth, I took it as a complement, never realizing she meant it as a cynical reaction to my precocious intellect. I proceeded, determined to develop the wisdom that the nickname implies.
A fun fact is that my name is pronounced like "Johnny" not like "Joanie." As an avid sci fi fan, I especially respect Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series; and believe that the celebrity whose life most parallels my own is SpongeBob SquarePants (and I can prove it, feel free to ask).
